Development studio Arkane Studios has released a new Deathloop trailer to present the news of the Goldenloop update, also announcing that the game is preloaded on Xbox Game Pass.
As you know, after a year of exclusive console on PS5, Deathloop will also be released on Xbox Series X and S. From tomorrow, September 20, 2022, even Xbox users will be able to play it, either by purchasing it or by subscribing to the Xbox Games Pass.
New players will naturally have all the news of the Goldenloop update immediately, which in any case will also be made available for the PC and PS5 versions.
Among the additions, the GOLDENLOOP update also introduces cross-play PvP matchmaking for PSN, Xbox, Steam, Epic and Microsoft Store. You can set the “Matchmaking cross-play” option to “Any” (to play all platforms) or “Equal” (to play only with your platform), while also setting the controller for cross-play matchmaking to ” Any “(to play against any type of controller) or” Equal “(to play against the same type of controller you use).
Let’s read the other news:
NEW SKILL: ESCAPE
Blackreef is an endless party, and what is an endless party without a little intoxication? The new Escape ability fires a projectile that slows and confuses the target, temporarily rendering it harmless (and sparkling). The Escape ability also includes four discoverable upgrades:
Tail: extended duration.
Pattern: Leave a Fugue “mine” on a surface.
Disharmony: Makes the target hostile towards its allies.
Syncope: Upon the target’s death, Escape spreads to surrounding enemies.
Imagine the damage you could do with a combination of Disharmony and Syncope … This is a Colt-worthy party!
You will have to explore a bit to find the Escape tablet. How about trying to find it in Karl’s Bay in the afternoon? You may find a new mystery to solve …
NEW WEAPON: AUTH PROTOTYPE
Visionary Wenjie has a new gift for you. The AUTA prototype is a new energy rifle that fires a continuous laser beam that allows you to pierce through enemies with precision. Fire the beam at a turret or security camera to exploit its refraction and bounce off enemies.
NEW ENEMY: BOMBAROLO ARTIST
If you thought the other Eternalists were out of their mind, wait until you meet the artist bomber … These new NPCs have taken their creative flair to new heights by equipping themselves with a bandolier of paint-filled explosives that they’ll be happy to trigger. and throw at you. Don’t let them get too close, or they’ll kill you in a burst of color, turning you into yet another splash of paint on the vibrant streets of Blackreef Island.
NEW SKILL UPGRADES: FOUR NEW UPGRADES FOR JULIANNA’S CAMOUFLAGE SKILL
Until now, Julianna’s Disguise ability was the only ability in the game that didn’t have power-ups of its own, but that has changed. With the GOLDENLOOP update, you will have four possible upgrade options:
Complex: Affects up to three NPCs with Camouflage.
Medication: Regenerates health while using Camouflage on an NPC.
Exposure: When a NPC hit by Camouflage dies or spots Colt, Colt is automatically scored.
Incognito: Converts damage taken while Camouflage is active to energy.
NEW “2 IN 1” PLATES
The GOLDENLOOP update introduces 19 new dog tags, but a little different from what you were used to. These “2 in 1” dog tags combine the abilities of two existing dog tags. Take, for example, the new “Wrecking Ball” tag, which merges the existing “Sprinter” (faster movement) and “Unstoppable Force” (damages an enemy by sprinting it). Or “Infinite Pockets”, which merges the existing dog tags “Deep Pockets” (plus portable ammo) and “Smash and Grab” (more ammo received from melee kills). Collect one of these multi-purpose dog tags to free up some space in your gear and open up new possibilities.
AND NEW SECRETS … … including an extended game ending and other surprises. But what fun would it be to ruin them? To find out what the GOLDENLOOP update has in store for you, you just have to play DEATHLOOP!
