CNews reports that the Aquarius group is increasing the production area of its plant in Shuya, Ivanovo region by 1.5 times and is launching a new production complex. The Russian manufacturer of computer equipment is investing 1.5 billion rubles in expanding production, which in the future will allow the company to triple its output.
At the plant in Shuya, Aquarius manufactures servers, storage systems, personal computers, laptops, tablets, all-in-ones, printers and multifunctional devices. In addition, motherboards of their own design are produced there.
The company also has an additional production site in Tver. In March 2022, Aquarius acquired the plant of the American electronics manufacturer Jabil. The total area of the production complex is 27 thousand square meters.
After modernization, by 2025 the plant in Shuya will be able to produce 1.2 million devices. The production complex in Tver will start work in October. There, by the above period, 1.5 million devices will be created.
