Now that the beta is also available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, a new comparison of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Series X|S with PS5 and PC has been released.
After launching the beta on PlayStation last week, ElAnalistaDebits has already released its first comparison video showing the game being somewhat held back by past generation consoles. Sure, the game looks better on PlayStation 5, but from what we’ve seen, those improvements aren’t all that great just yet.
Fast forward a week and the tech channel has released a new comparison video. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Modern Warfare 2 runs at 4K at 60FPS and at 1440P at 120FPS. It must be said that performance on the Xbox Series X is better at 120Hz in Invasion mode, and the PS5 version seems to be suffering from some minor shading issues at 120Hz.
One of the biggest surprises again may be the Series S, which runs the game at 1440P at 60FPS and 1080P at 120FPS.
Meanwhile, the PC version has improved shadows, ambient occlusion, anisotropic filtering, and some textures. Also, with DLSS enabled, you can see a significant performance boost.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches October 28 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
