The missing 120Hz option for Xbox Series X has now been hotfixed to Destiny 2.
Bungie had already installed a hotfix for Destiny 2 on all platforms last night.
With the update, the developer has made adjustments to the Crucible, the Kingfall Raid, and weapons, armor, and abilities. You can find the details in the German patch notes below.
The hotfix also added a missing option in the settings for the Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles for a 120Hz refresh rate.
CRUCIBLE The weights for the Separation and Dust Cathedral maps have been adjusted. Fixed an issue in the Crucible Laboratories where players were unable to advance the weekly Crucible Challenges. KINGFALL RAID Fixed an issue where Daughters of Oryx were taking increased damage from rocket launchers and other sources. Fixed an issue where players could survive certain wipe techniques during activity. Fixed an issue where players could sometimes spawn behind doors during the Warpriest encounter.
GAMEPLAY AND ACTIONS
ARMOR Fixed an issue where the improved seasonal mod and leg armor mod for Sword Scavenger could be stacked with the base versions for increased effectiveness. Now if you equip one of these mods, you will no longer be able to equip the other. Additionally, the regular and artifact mods for Machine Gun Raiders could also be stacked. This issue has been resolved. WEAPONS Fixed an issue where Spiteful Touch’s Rot projectile could blind allies, causing them to take increased damage from Weapons of Woe. Fixed an issue where Malevolent Touch’s final round would incorrectly double its damage when hitting a target hit by Divinity. ABILITIES Fixed an issue where the Spark of Feedback fragment could, in rare cases, cause abilities, buffs, and debuffs to stop working.
PLATFORMS AND SYSTEMS
Removed the links in Korean purchase text boxes not working on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Fixed an issue with a crash that could happen at launch on PlayStation 4 when users have many platform achievements. Fixed an issue where the 120Hz refresh rate option was missing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
