Developer BioWare announced about major update 7.1.1 for Star Wars: The Old Republic, which will introduce new Outfitter system features, R-4 boss nerfs and changes, and the start of Galactic Season 3.
BioWare plans to release the update in the fall of 2022.
Details about the third season have not yet been revealed, but the community manager revealed the theme of the next season, which will be “Galactic Gaming”. At the same time that Galaxy Season 3 is released, you will also be able to participate in the Prosperity Celebration and Conquest quests in the Manaan Daily area.
Out of season, several bosses in R-4 Anomaly will be weakened or changed, such as:
IP-CPT Health Drain (Veteran) Overgrown Hallway Nerf (Story Mode) Lady Dominique Health Drain (Story Mode) Nihrot Damage Cannot be Reflected
In addition to the nerfs, a few bugs have been fixed, such as Nichroth’s suppression grenades getting stuck in the tentacles and the IP-CPT falling through the floor.
Finally, there will be an unexpected CE vendor change that was only ever available to players who bought the Collector’s Edition. BioWare will open a CE vendor for players who have purchased an account-wide pass, allowing them to enter the VIP area, speak to the CE vendor, and purchase Collector’s Edition items.
