Horror Scorn from the Serbian studio Ebb Software will support proprietary DirectStorage download acceleration technology from Microsoft on the PC.
The information was confirmed by the project’s official Twitter profile.
Scorn comes out October 21st. This means that the game will be the first to support DirectStorage on PC. To take advantage of the technology, you need an SSD system. The maximum reduction in download times will be noticed by owners of NVMe drives.
The other day, the creators of Scorn showed the gameplay of the prologue, and the journalists shared the first 45 minutes of the passage.
