The handheld gaming console itself had suspended animation after the failure of the PlayStation Vita. Mobile games at the time managed to surpass it in terms of revenue. The Nintendo Switch, which was released in 2017, has managed to compete with the mobile game market.
Valve’s Steam Deck has also helped resurrect the handheld gaming console trend. From the announcements of the Razer Edge and Logitech G, it seems that handheld consoles are not going extinct.
Can the Razer Edge surpass the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck in the handheld console competition? Or will Logitech G take over? The Razer Edge Wi-Fi model will be released in 2023 in the United States.
