Be quiet! introduced a new series of System Power 10 power supplies. It includes models for Europe with power from 450 to 850 W with an input operating voltage of 200-240 V. For other markets, the manufacturer will offer more versatile System Power 10 U models with power from 550 to 850 W, which support a wider operating input voltage range of 100-240V.
The manufacturer notes that the 850W System Power 10 power supply models are 80 Plus Gold certified, while lower power models meet the 80 Plus Bronze standard.
Unfortunately, the novelties do not have a modular cable design. Therefore, buyers will have to think about how it is more convenient to arrange extra cables. However, the latter have a flat profile, so their installation should not be any particular problem. The company notes that the System Power 10 and System Power 10 U power supplies offer up to four PCI-Express (6 + 2) cables, which support the use of powerful graphics cards.
The manufacturer notes that the 850 W System Power 10 and System Power 10 U PSU models are equipped with two independent 12 V lines. 120 mm low-noise fans are responsible for cooling the new products. The speed of their work is automatically adjusted depending on the load on the system and the temperature of the PSU itself.
For all PSU models presented, the company claims a full range of protection systems, including overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), overpower protection (OPP), short circuit protection (SCP), undervoltage protection on line (UVP) and overheating protection (OTP). All models of power supplies presented are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
System Power 10 power supplies for Europe range from €50 to €108, while System Power 10 U models destined for markets outside Europe range from $56 to $110.
