General Director of Rukha Igor Dedyshin commented on the conflict with the sports director of Dnipro-1 Evgeny Krasnikovwhich occurred after the match of the 7th round of the UPL between these teams:
“There were pushes, there were emotional sayings, but it didn’t come to assault. I ask the media not to invent. But there were emotions. People who have been in football for many years know who Yevgeny Krasnikov is, what methods he used in Metalist, how many coaching and football destinies he broke with his actions. He knows this very well, as do most people who are involved in football. I also told him about this during our conversations.
As for the refereeing, the referee Yuri Ivanov throughout the match showed sympathy for the opponent. And it felt the players and coaches. The referee behaved as he was given instructions from the Dnepr-1 coaching staff, namely Kucher and Krasnikov. They were not representatives of the coaching staff, but commentators. They commented all the time. With their actions, they raised the degree of tension, and the referee began to doubt, react to the cry, make rash decisions and lose control of the match.
Let us remind you that the officials of the Rukh and Dnipro-1 teams started a fight after the end of the match of the 7th round of the UPL between these teams (2:3). Dnipro-1 sports director Evgeny Krasnikov and Rukh general director Igor Dedyshin took part in a brawl after the game. The Lviv team finished the match with nine players due to penalties and conceded the decisive goal in the 90+5th minute of the match.
