Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition was announced together with theSeason 3: Anniversary updateboth with the same release date, which is October 25, 2022that is, next week, on PC and available on Game Pass.
As for the Anniversary update, this is the arrival of various new content for Season 3 of Age of Empires IV, which of course will all be included also within the new all-encompassing edition. Among these we find:
2 new civilizations: Ottomans and Malians, both coming with their own Art of War challenges, Masteries and The Start of the Season 3 Rankedwith the introduction of Team Ranked and various new rewards The possibility of using provocations against enemies, in addition to the introduction of Cheats to modify some parameters of the game
8 new maps also containing 2 new biomes. Rebalancing of naval battles, with new possibilities in this area.
Also on October 25, in conjunction with the launch of Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition and the Anniversary update, World’s Edge will hold a livestream presentation with “announcements, interviews and some surprises”.
Among the latter there may also be some information on the rumored console version of Age of Empires IV, which has long been rumored to be coming to Xbox but of which there is no official information yet.
