It’s no secret that Konami is being said to be trying to revive its flagship survivor horror franchise – Silent Hill. Even though an official announcement has never been released, various speculations and rumors coming from reliable sources have been talking about it for years. Inspired by the success story of the Resident Evil revival from Capcom, he was even said to not only present one project, but several directly. A proof that will happen this morning, at the official Silent Hill showcase.
But as usual, before the official announcement took place, the internet had already done its magic. Through the metadata available via Youtube videos which are now starting to do a countdown, this announcement is supposed to bring at least 3 separate announcements: 2 video games and 1 movie. Metadata shows that there is clearly the name “Silent Hill 2” which reinforces rumors about the remake process being prepared. Another name is Silent Hill: Ascension which is also believed to be a video game. While the last name is “Return to Silent Hill” which is believed to be the latest film.

Of course, this is still a rumor and speculation until the official announcement comes from Konami’s mouth this morning, precisely at 04:00 am WIB. How about you? Optimistic that this will be a revival of Silent Hill?
