Some dealers already carry the new Raptor Lake CPUs from Intel’s 13th processor generation, and the new processors can already be pre-ordered from Alternate. If you want to buy the promising Intel Core i9-13900K gaming processor, you can already order it from Amazon. At 848.04 euros, the price is significantly higher than the cheapest offer from Caseking, where the new top CPU from Intel can also be pre-ordered for 749 euros. These are processors without a graphics unit. This CPU, for example, cannot be overclocked compared to the Core i7-13700K. PCGH preview gives promising outlook on Raptor Lake CPUs
The PCGH test of the new CPUs from Intel’s Raptor Lake series are only allowed to be published on October 20, 3 p.m. due to a worldwide embargo. Then the official start of sales will take place. Nevertheless, Intel Core i9-13900K, Core i7-13700K and i5-13600K can already be bought. The new processors can already be pre-ordered from dealers such as Alternate or Caseking, as can be seen from our list above. In our detailed PCGH preview, however, we were already able to take a close look at Intel’s 13th processor generation. PCGH CPU expert David Ney believes Intel’s prediction that the top CPU Core i9-13900K will outperform the new AMD competitor Ryzen 9 7950X in games. In addition to higher clock speeds and the number of cores, Intel provides its 13th generation desktop CPUs with additional L3 cache for the E cores, which according to the manufacturer benefits the execution of larger data sets and better performance, and with more L2 -Cache per P-Core and E-Core cluster. Here, Intel promises to minimize the time spent exchanging data between the caches and the memory, which speeds up the workflow. There is an additional 2 MiByte L2 cache per P core and 4 MiByte L2 cache per E core cluster. The Core i9-13900K should accordingly come up with 36 MiByte L3 and a total of 32 MiByte L2 cache.
