Square Enix released patch 6.25 for Final Fantasy XIV, in which the Unsteady and Curious Vaults celebrate their debuts. In addition, among other things, Hildibrand’s cases are continued in a side mission series and a new mission series gives the starting signal for the first improvement step of the Manderville weapons. Players can also look forward to this year’s All Saints’ Day event. This seasonal content will be accessible in-game from October 19th to November 1st.
More details about patch 6.25 are given below:
New side quests – Hildibrand’s cases again require a clear mind in patch 6.25. New Weapon Upgrade Contracts – Players can obtain and upgrade Manderville weapons throughout the Patch 6.x series. This innovation will be introduced with the Hildibrand’s Cases questline. New Tribal Quests: The Omicron – New daily quests for collectors. New Battle Content “Unsteady Vault” – players are invited to master dungeons of different difficulties. Starting with The Undercity of Sil’dih, these dungeons are designed for one to four players. The difficulty of the opponents is adjusted depending on the group size. Players will explore the vault with Nanamo. These dungeons feature branching paths that can change depending on player choices. Each path has exploration reports that can be combined to reveal secrets and uncover the full story. Curious Vaults – Highly difficult four-player content that is similar to the Unsteady Vaults areas, but with paths that follow a set course. The Curious Vault will feature two difficulty levels, each with their own unique rulesets and characteristics.
Additionally, the seasonal All Saints’ Day event will accompany the update and will be haunting the game again starting October 19th. Until November 1st, players will be tasked with traveling to Gridania to complete a series of spooky quests rewarded with amusing rewards.
Furthermore, the return of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festivals 2023-2024 announced. The event will open its doors to visitors on site in North America, Europe and Japan.
Players can also look forward to the upcoming expansion of the North American data center, which will take place on November 1st. With this expansion, the data center will be further relieved during peak times. The new logical data center, dubbed “Dynamis”, will initially house four new worlds to accommodate the ever-growing player base. Further additions will be made in the future.
