There was a data leak of the new video card, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X – with faster memory, on GA104 GPU. All models will ship with 19Gb/s GDDR6X memory, comparable to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.
NVIDIA is allegedly filling the small gap between the GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti by simply increasing the memory speed of the existing model. The gap is small, because there are many competing copies in this segment, so the company will definitely release such a model.
Looking at the results, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X will be on 7-10% faster than RTX 3060 Ti with memory GDDR6. However, synthetic benchmarks may not take full advantage of memory bandwidth than gaming applications. When a card passes gaming tests, everything will depend on the resolution and quality of the textures.
According to the information, the new model will be based on the same GA104-202 GPU and overclocked to 1665 MHz. But now with 19 Gb / s memory, the memory bandwidth is expected to increase by 36%. Also, TDP values are not yet known.
Updated midrange NVIDIA GeForce card The RTX 30 should be out in a few weeks, towards the end of October. Since the RTX 4080 12GB has been cancelled, the makers are expecting NVIDIA to push back the launch date, possibly to November.
