Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed: Multiplayer title available now – The launch trailer

The asymmetrical multiplayer title “Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed” is now available for consoles and PC. The official launch trailer gets you in the mood for the spooky adventure.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is the next asymmetric multiplayer title from Illfonic, the creators of Predator: Hunting Grounds.

The release was accompanied by the obligatory launch trailer, which gives you impressions of the ongoing gameplay and gives you a glimpse of the various pieces of equipment with which you go ghost-hunting in “Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed”.

The first reviews of the international trade press speak of a thoroughly entertaining “Ghostbusters” adventure, which, however, still has to struggle with minor technical shortcomings and balancing problems. Auf Metacritic puts it in the mid-70s for the PlayStation 5 version.

Go ghost hunting with friends

While in “Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed” one of the players slips into the role of the ghost and causes terror, the other users in the Ghostbusters’ skin are faced with the task of putting a stop to the terror. As a ghost, you use various tricks and your electro-plasma to frighten civilians or the ghost hunters in order to “ensure complete terror”.

If the ghost succeeds in chasing away the Ghostbusters, it becomes the winner of a round. The ghost hunters, on the other hand, use various technologies known from the films or comics to put an end to the spook. First, the ghost is tracked down using the PKE measuring devices. Of course, the iconic ghost traps and proton packs are also part of the Ghostbusters’ equipment.
