As ‘God of War Ragnarok’ Kratos steps closer to release, the download size of the PS4 version was leaked.
God of War Ragnarok is likely to be one of the last major first-party games to be released for the PS4. However, the Kratos adventure on the last-gen console packs a punch once again – also in terms of size.
Images published on the Internet make it clear that the PS4 version of “God of War Ragnarök” has a download size of 118.5 GB, so that a preload phase makes perfect sense here.
The image below is not of the best quality and is not an official confirmation. However, it can be seen that a heavyweight is to be expected with the PS4 version of “God of War Ragnarök”.
The author writes in his tweet: “This is the official size of God of War Ragnarok on PS4. I won’t release spoilers, I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”

It is not known whether the download Day-One-Patch includes or whether it is the standard file size of the title.
However, compared to the file size of 2018’s God of War, which was 45GB, God of War Ragnarök packs a lot more on its ribs. SHE Santa Monica already emphasized that the Game bigger than planned failed. So players can expect a lot of content. It is still unclear how big the PS5 version of the latest Kratos adventure will be.
God of War Ragnarök will be released on November 9th, 2022 for PS4 and PS5. Ahead of the launch, Sony is presenting a weekly behind-the-scenes video series, with the first episode focused on storytelling.
