Today at midnight Moscow time Konami going to make some announcements regarding Silent Hillbut it looks like the company is ahead of its time confirmed the existence of a remake Silent Hill 2.
Author YouTube channel SHN Survival Horror Network launched a test stream for the upcoming Konami presentation, but ended up getting a DMCA strike. AT message received by youtuber mentioned Silent Hill 2: Part 1.
Recall that the creation of a remake of the second Silent Hill is credited authors Layers of Fear and The Medium from Bloober Team. There have already been several leaks about the project, including screenshots of an early version of the game, an image confirming the involvement of the Bloober Team in development, and more.
Famous insider Dusk Golemwho previously confirmed the authenticity of the leaked screenshots, published a few additional details about what Konami is planning for Silent Hill. They are spoiler-free and as neutral as possible – according to an insider, they can be interpreted in different ways: the remake is divided into parts; the release of the original SH2 along with the remake; SH2 Remake demo release; the original SH2 is part 1, there is a specially planned sequel to SH2; SH2 remake release by episodes; Konami has a video showing the beginning of SH2 gameplay. Recall that in May of this year, there were rumors that Konami was working on an episodic game, free teaser game and more.
