Our message from the editor: The best WoW year in a long time?
It may surprise you, but it may not: WoW Wrath of the Lich King has struck like Sindragosa’s bone body in the icy expanses of Eiskrones. No, seriously! When I was looking for reasonably reliable figures on interest in World of Warcraft in Germany over the past five years, only a few events in the online role-playing game universe left a visible trace. The release of Battle for Azeroth in August 2018 was decent, but there was more hype about WoW Classic in September and October 2019. Exciting: Shadowlands didn’t just “underperform” in terms of feeling. The interest of the willing WoW fans from German-speaking countries was actually so limited that the current WotLK Classic hype easily surpasses it. Okay, of course, the current interest is also paired with Dragonflight. But given the fact that the launch of Burning Crusade Classic left almost no blip on Google Trends, the remake of the most successful WoW expansion of all time is an absolute blast. I admit: I was expecting something else, namely that the Northrend adventure would also disappear. I am all the more pleased that so many of you are traveling to the northernmost continent of Azeroth for a second (or perhaps a first?!) time. I hope for you that you will enjoy this trip.

The MMORE 10/2022 is ready! This time we’re looking at Dragonflight talents, scoring WoW: Shadowlands and… more! Yes, of course!
MMORE 09/2022: Will Furorion become a hero in WoW: Dragonflight – or ass?
The MMORE 09/2022 is here! In it, we ask whether the popular WoW character Furorion will lead us to our doom. And more. We have answers too lol.
The WoW effect
And at the same time I hope that this hype will also carry over to live WoW when Dragonflight is unleashed on the players on November 29th. Because WotLK is such a big topic at the moment, this issue gives a comprehensive look at one of the most popular WoW raids. And in the next issue, which will appear in mid-November, the editors will be rushing into the adventure on the Dragon Islands so that you can hold the perfect Dragonflight Bible in your hands with your MMORE at the start. Really, 2022 could be World of Warcraft’s best year since WoW Classic and Legion. Whether the mix of classic and live content will reach the last really big peak in the days of Mists of Pandaria? I am excited! Are you too? If so, then let us know your thoughts, because you can of course send us an email at any time, to [email protected] or [email protected]!
