Available since October 04 for Overwatch fans first of the name (you must obtain a certain rank of the battle pass for neophytes), Kiriko is the last heroine to join the cast of Overwatch 2. She has therefore been available for 15 days, period necessary before its arrival in the various classified modes.

Kiriko, the last Hero of Overwatch 2
She is one of the three new heroines to join the cast of Heroes of Overwatch 2: Kiriko is the careful ninja, protective of Kanezaka and who should not be confused. Teased at the Microsoft Xbox Bethesda conference, the heroine has been available since October 4 with the release of the game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. A short film, released ten days ago, brings some lore and context to the new heroine.
Primary Weapon: Healing O-Fuda: These are small talismans (up to 10) that heal allies over time. The farther she is from the target, the longer the talismans will take to arrive Secondary fire – Kunai: Small stars that she throws, which will make critical hits if they arrive in the head. Passive ability – Climbing: Kiriko can climb the wall because she went through the same training as Genji and Hanzo. Main Ability – Swift Step: An ability that allows her to teleport (within a limited range) near an ally. The walls are not an obstacle.Secondary ability – Suzu of protection: It briefly makes your allies invulnerable and removes the negative effects from which they suffer.Ultimate ability – Kitsune Rush: we saw it very briefly in June. The fox is an integral part of Kiriko’s gameplay since it is to him that we owe the ultimate ability of the healer ninja. It grants Kiriko and allied characters a bonus that speeds up all of their actions, including their movement speed, rate of fire, and cooldowns. However, players will have to pass through doors to benefit from the bonus.

However, he is the last hero to join the competitive games since… today! Since Sojourn and La Reine des Junkers had already been tested during previous beta phases, they did not have to go through a similar route. The official Overwatch 2 Twitter page broke the news.
Welcome to #Overwatch2 Competitive Mode, Kiriko 🦊. Who’s ready to put their battle healer skills to the test?
We will still be waiting for news of Bastion and Torbjorn, removed in the days following launch due to bugs related to their abilities. For Bastion, his ultimate ability could be repeated infinitely instead of just twice. We hope for an update soon regarding these two champions, which may drop next week: this is the start date of the PvE event as well as double XP weekends.
