The return of Silent Hill seems to involve a number of side projects, one of which is supposed to be a game published by Annapurna smaller in size and in style indiewhich had already emerged in the rumors of recent months and now returns as a possible announcement at tonight’s event.
Last May the possibility had emerged that Annapurna had been commissioned to develop a minor project related to Silent Hill when there was talk of a remake, a small game from Annapurna and a new chapter, with an “indie” production, and in these hours also emerges a possible name of the team responsible for this project: it would be No Codea Scottish studio not very well known but already experienced in the field of horror “short stories”, given its previous Untold Stories.
Something similar should also be expected for Silent Hill, which would also return with a cryptic message published last August by No Code, in which the team reported that it had grown in size and that it was “fabricating a nightmare”.
All of these details seem to be put together in a tweet from the usually well-informed Tom Henderson, who in a rather convoluted way seems to indicate that a Silent Hill is in development at No Code, published by Annapurna. This could be one of the projects minors that are planned for the relaunch of the Konami series, as also referred to in our point on the rumors we made a little while ago. Now little is missing to know the truth, with the appointment set for tonight at 23:00 and the event also broadcast live on Multiplayer.it.
