During the course of the Silent Hill Transmission, the event dedicated to the future of Konami’s horror series, was presented with a teaser trailer Silent Hill Townfalla new game made by No Code, an independent studio author of Stories Untold and Observation, and the publisher Annapurna Interactive. You will see the announcement trailer in the player at the head of the news.
Unfortunately, the video doesn’t offer much insight into the nature of Silent Hill Townfall. In the video we hear a man talking to another person (suppose on the phone) and from this “one way” conversation it is possible to guess that both of them were trapped in Silent Hill. Meanwhile, the film frames the screen of a portable TV in which various images flow, gradually more and more gruesome.
Jon McKellan, the creative director of No Code, did not unbutton too much about the nature of Silent Hill Townfall, stating that it will be a game that will respect the source material but that at the same time “will have something different”. McKellan added that the Silent Hill Townfall teaser trailer unveiled today is just the beginning, but that the developers can’t show anything else for now.
According to his words, we will see the game over the course of the next year. Meanwhile McKellan invites players to rewatch the trailer several times, as they may uncover new clues and details.
Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill f, a new mystery game from Konami, were also presented during the Silent Hill Transmission.
