The updated children’s show “Teletubbies” will be available to watch on Netflix on November 14.
Netflix has announced the reboot of the cult children’s series 21 years after the project was closed. The trailer, which the streaming company released on YouTube on October 18, reveals that Tinky Winky’s old friends Dipsy, La La and Po will embark on brand new adventures to help kids learn and grow in the 21st century.
The appearance of the “Teletubbies” remains unchanged – these are four plush creatures with antennas on their heads and screens on their tummies. Viewers of the original program will also see other familiar elements: the “sun” with a child’s face and a vacuum cleaner, always striving to steal pancakes.

The new trailer also sees the debut of Titus Burgess (best known for his role as Titus Andromedon in the Netflix comedy series The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, for which he received five Emmy nominations) as the series’ narrator.
Each episode includes new original “Tummy Tales” songs that will “get the whole family dancing.” The premiere of the updated show is scheduled for Monday, November 14th. The upcoming season will consist of 26 episodes, each 12 minutes long.
The Teletubbies were originally created by Ann Wood and Andrew Davenport for the BBC in 1997. The series was designed for viewers up to 7 years old and contained 365 episodes. Starring Rachel Beinart, Rebecca Hyland, Nick Chi Ping Kellington and Jeremiah Crage. The series is executive produced by Kate Bennetts, Maddy Darrall, Stephen DeNure, Billy McQueen and Michael Towner.
The show ended on January 5, 2001, but during that time the characters became a favorite with children and received international recognition: the original series received many BAFTA awards (the British equivalent of the Oscars).
Earlier it became known that Netflix will “punish” customers for exchanging passwords in 2023 – the amount of fines could be 1/4 of the cost of the base rate for each additional user.
