All manga have an end. A statement difficult to declare these days as long as the current big hits are sprawling (One Piece, Dragon Ball or even My Hero Academia). Either way, it’s wrap time for Tokyo Revengers.

Tokyo Revengers: it’s almost the end!
A very popular manga is about to sign its end. It is neither about One Piece ni de My Hero Academia (whose respective authors have announced that they are starting the final saga of their work) but from shônen Tokyo Revengers. A manga that has been talked about a lot in recent months. It was the manga’s official Twitter page that announced it yesterday:
For everything so far, thank you. Issue 51 of Weekly Shônen Jump magazine, on sale November 16, will pre-release the final chapter of Tokyo Manji Revengers. The countdown starts today!
Tokyo Revengers: an end that is debating
Reading some comments, it was time for Tokyo Revengers to end. For many, the end of the manga is tainted by the many reversals of situations observed and probably remotely justified by the main plot of the work. As a reminder, Tokyo Revengers tells the story of Hanagaki Takemichi: a young man who finished his school career learning of the death of his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana. An accident that awakens his conscience. As he laments his fate, he is pushed onto a subway track and when he sees death coming, he travels back in time. Then follows a whole bunch of adventures and action to save that of his heart and in particular his entry into the Tokyo Manji-Kai gang.
Ken Wakui’s manga is enjoying growing popularity in 2021, in particular due to its 24-episode television adaptation produced by LidenFilms (Berserk, Mugen No Juunin, Hanebado or more recently Yofukashi no Uta). A success witnessed by the ranking of the best-selling manga of the year 2021 since Tokyo Revengers recovered a very good third place. A card that should continue next winter with the second season of the anime.
