Last week, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa caused quite a stir with a revelation. During a live stream, she initially tearfully reported that she had been married for some time. However, it is obviously not a happy marriage, because according to her statements, her husband terrorizes her and even threatened to destroy her existence several times. As evidence, she showed several text messages from her unidentified husband and had a very toxic phone call with him on camera. Although the streamer received many encouraging words from her fans, she also had to take some criticism.
Trolls attack Amouranth
During her comeback stream, in which she revealed her plans for the near future, among other things, Amouranth responded to the statements of some critics. Among other things, they accused her of displaying her marital drama in such a public way and should have done it privately instead. However, anyone who thought that such hostilities would throw the streamer, who is currently emotionally quite unstable, off track is mistaken. Amouranth reacted very calmly in front of the camera.
“I’ve seen a lot of people say, ‘Oh, she should have kept it private’. I just thought to myself that’s exactly what I did. It didn’t get any better though. I’ve kept it private for a long time held.”
Other critics have said the streamer should have contacted the police with her issues before making it public on a live stream. She would certainly have been better helped there. But even to this objection, Amouranth had an answer that was as plausible as it was frightening.
“The police don’t do anything until you are physically assaulted. Unfortunately, yelling at your partner is no reason for the police to intervene. So they didn’t really help me. They wait for actual physical harm.”
