After porting to the beta version of WhatsApp Business on Android, now the business tools tab has also started to be released for iOS, according to the WABetaInfo portal. Before, this feature was limited to companies that installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android, but ultimately the feature, which works more like a new shortcut, is coming to some business accounts in the beta version of the app on Apple’s system.
The new tab called “Tools” on the bottom bar of the screen replaces the old camera tab if the feature is enabled for the account.
With this shortcut, it will be easier to access all the Messaging tools available specifically for businesses without opening WhatsApp settings — such as setting up your business profile, editing the product catalog, setting messages and promoting advertising on social media.
WhatsApp is also adding a camera shortcut for businesses that can see the tab, similar to regular WhatsApp. Naturally, the tools tab will not reach the most popular app as these are features exclusive to the enterprise version of the app.
The Business Tools tab has been released for some companies after installing the latest TestFlight WhatsApp Business beta update. If the novelty has not appeared around, wait for the next updates where the feature should be distributed to more users.
