Konami’s efforts to revive Silent Hill as a franchise are indeed no joke, especially through the evidence of the showcase this morning. The various rumors and speculations that had circulated previously seemed right on target if we commented on how these various projects were ultimately handed over to third-party developers instead of them handling directly. Of all these projects, the one that caught the most attention was of course the title they used to close the showcase. A Silent Hill series that looks so different from the previous Silent Hill series.
That instead of “leaning” to the west, the Silent Hill series which will be named “Silent Hill f” will make Japan in the 1960s era as the main setting. The story itself is still mysterious, but it will be handled by Ryukishi07 – a well-known visual novel writer who had produced products such as Higurashi and Umineko in the past. Interestingly? Silent Hill f has ambitions to give birth to a game with a beautiful world but also scary at the same time. It will be developed by a developer from Taiwan – NeoBards Entertainment.
Silent Hill f will take place in Japan in the 1960s era.
Unfortunately, there is no further information on how far the development process has progressed, the release date, or on which platforms it will be headed. What do you think? Interesting?
