Cisco Networking Academy was founded in 1997. It is an international educational initiative in the field of IT, which brings together partner educational institutions around the world. The program covers approximately 190 countries. To date, it is estimated that more than 17.5 million students have completed Cisco Networking Academy courses.

It is noted that over the past 25 years, Cisco Networking Academy has formed a vast ecosystem of partnerships with governments, academic institutions and non-profit organizations. By 2025, advances in technology and automation will create 97 million jobs. The new initiative, according to Cisco, will help millions of people around the world take advantage of the offers of employers.
At the same time, Cisco announced new partnership agreements. One of them is signed with Experis (part of ManpowerGroup), which provides professional IT resources and project services. The Parties will provide training for specialists in areas where the demand for skilled workers far exceeds the supply. These are, in particular, information technology, cybersecurity, networks, programming and data handling.

In addition, Cisco has pledged to train an additional 200,000 students in the US over the next three years in partnership with governments and other organizations. Finally, two new certification programs have been announced. One of them provides for the training of entry-level specialists in the field of cybersecurity.
