Positive reviews praise New Tales from the Borderlands for its script, new cast of deep characters, and great humor. Some journalists note that the developers managed to improve the formula Counting speechso the original is noticeably inferior to the continuation.
The game will suit both those who are not familiar with the Tales from the Borderlands universe, and fans who will surely like the various references. Also, it seems that the game can configure QTE or even disable them completely.
Journalists who left mixed and negative reviews ultimately prefer the first Tales from the Borderlands. In their opinion, now the game has more from Gearboxthan from Telltale, however, it does not have any evolution or special improvements compared to the original.
