As promised, the developer studio Gameloft has now released the first major content update for the popular life simulation Disney Dreamlight Valley. It bears the apt name “Scar’s Kingdom”, because after all, the focus is on the nasty villain from the movie “The Lion King”. Not only do we tell you what to expect in the update, we also present a new trailer at the same time.
Scar’s big entrance
As the name of the update suggests, the first major content update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is all about the villain Scar. This immediately walks through the virtual world of the life simulation and is available for some interactions with your character. Among other things, you can help the mean lion conquer his “Pillar of Nurturing”. So you can now live out your “evil side” in the game. Incidentally, the thematically appropriate “Sunlit Plateau” celebrates its premiere together with him.
Also, as part of the Star Path Season update, prepare for the approaching Halloween festival. Numerous objects and decorative elements with a spooky factor are available to you, so that a spooky atmosphere can move into Dreamlight Valley. The items are thematically inspired by films such as Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Hercules and Sleeping Beauty. Incidentally, in order to unlock the items, you must team up with some of the villains from the Disney universe and help them liberate their respective empires. The just released trailer, which also focuses on Scar, provides a foretaste of this.

When will the next updates appear?
Furthermore, the “Scar’s Kingdom” update brings a large number of bug fixes, optimizations and performance improvements. the full patch notes can be found on the official website. The developer studio Gameloft has also confirmed that there will be further updates of this kind for Disney Dreamlight Valley. So far, however, neither details on the content nor on the release dates are known.
