Web resource VideoCardz shared fresh information about the modification of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X memory. This graphics card will hit the market within the next few weeks and will inherit the GPU configuration from the previously released model. However, the increased bandwidth of the video buffer will still provide the new product with an increase in performance.
The updated GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will receive GDDR6X chips with an effective frequency of 19 GHz, due to which the video buffer bandwidth will increase from 448 to 608 GB / s. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti has the same indicator. As a result, the performance of the new product will be at least 7% higher than that of the regular GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. At least, this is evidenced by the results in the 3DMark test suite.
The official debut of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X memory was originally supposed to take place before the end of October. However, against the backdrop of recent events, in particular the cancellation of the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB release, the new product may be delayed until next month.
