20.10.2022 at 08:32 by Jusuf Hatic – The final system requirements for the upcoming Batman offshoot Gotham Knights have been determined – and they are quite challenging even without activated ray tracing.
The release of Gotham Knights is imminent: From October 21st, players in the co-op action game can slip into the role of Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl or Red Hood and travel through Gotham City. However, the limitation to 30 fps for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S previously caused explosives, which was justified by the high minimum requirements for Gotham Knights. After all, at least 4K resolution and ray tracing should be supported on the current-gen consoles – in contrast to the PC version, whose minimum requirements should only be sufficient for a low level of detail at 1080p resolution.
For PC players of Gotham Knights (buy now €74.99) these have now been confirmed by the official Twitter account and further information on the recommended system configuration has been revealed. If you want to play the game in Full HD resolution with high detail levels and a smooth 60 frames per second, you need at least an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card in addition to an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X – pretty crisp when you consider that raytracing is not included here either.

In order to be able to exhaust features such as ray tracing, 4K resolution or the support of ultrawide monitors on the home computer, an even higher-class system will probably be required. The recently released PC trailer, which showcases DLSS 2, FSR2 and ray tracing, shows how chic Gotham Knights can look with the appropriate performance.
