, Jakarta – Genshin Impact is one of the games with a myriad of fan-made illustrations or commonly called fanart that attracts players’ attention. To create a catchy work of art, of course, requires seriousness and of course maximum effort.
Then what will happen if the effort that has been done with difficulty but someone else steals it without your permission? It’s even annoying, isn’t it? Likewise with this illustrator Genshin Impact.
An Illustrator With Username Musaish Steals Genshin Impact Fanart From Its Original Owner, Claims To Be His Own
The work of the South Korean Illustrator AT, which was stolen by a person named Musaish | haruno_intro
An illustrator by the name of Musaish was caught stealing an illustration of the Genshin Impact Raiden Shogun character from the original owner known as AT (haruno_intro) while he was livestreaming on the Twitch app. For those who don’t know him, AT is an illustrator who often uploads his drawing progress through the live he does.
In the middle of the process, Musaish secretly stole it by taking a WIP screenshot from AT’s Twitch and then assisted by artificial intelligence or AI technology. As a result, 5-6 hours before AT finished his work, the drawing that had been made by Musaish was finished and then posted on his personal account.

Instead of feeling ashamed, Musaish claimed his work in his name and demanded that the original owner, AT, give credit to the thief after AT had finished working on his work.
“Brother, when you ask your fans about art theft, you post the picture 5-6 hours after I posted it. And to draw that, you do it fast. Either if you take it for AI reference, at least please acknowledge my work or you can post without needing attention from fans,” explained Musaish in his twitter upload.

Not long after Musaish posted, instead of getting praise, he got insults and curses from various circles, one of them from fellow illustrators. They regretted the immoral act committed by Musaish.
Musaish’s Twitter account has now been permanently deleted after he was cornered or mentally hit by bullying by Twitter netizens. To see the complete chronology, please see Genel Jumalon’s twitter account (GeneralJumalon).
It is true that AI technology can beat the drawing techniques of the original creators, even modern illustrators. But still stealing art is an act that is not commendable. If you repost artwork that is considered conspicuous on your social media, still include the link from the original owner.
