NBA 2K23 Season 2: Heading to the Wild West on October 21st!
2K announces that NBA 2K23 Season 2 kicks off this Friday, with new content for MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W that will get fans in the spirit of Halloween.
Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum hip-hop artist J. Cole handpicked 20 songs for Season 2 and introduces the new Dreamville apparel.
In NBA 2K23 Season 2, players will follow the Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker from the sweltering heat of Phoenix to the Wild West in hopes of taking home gold at the Larry O’Brien Trophy by battling teams like the premier champions, the Golden State Warriors challenge. Other new content:
MyCAREER now also gets a trick-or-treat night and more spooky events around the city and on the GOAT boat, a new court with artwork and a special skeleton outfit, and a Jabbawockeez outfit as a level 40 reward. MyTEAM features new rewards, events, moments, and the first-ever Dark Matter maps. Players can experience new Moments agendas and rewards for outstanding real-world NBA performances in-game, as well as more weekly skill challenge content via the Moments Rewind group. There are also more ways to complete Trophy Case collections, redesigned Season Map themes, and the ability to create a standout line-up with the Devin Booker Level 40 Reward, available as a Pink Diamond, showing how he throws, scores and makes the game. The W has brand new challenges, community rewards like the Los Angeles Sparks Heroine Shorts, and weekly The W Online rewards like a Tamika Catchings Coach card, among others. This year, NBA 2K23 features 60 WNBA player jerseys in the city and on the GOAT boat in MyCAREER. Season 2 kicks off with the 2022 WNBA Championship duo of Las Vegas aces Chelsea Gray and A’ja Wilson, along with Minnesota Lynx franchise players Sylvia Fowles and Ariel Powers, and Connecticut Sun standouts Jonquel Jones and Alyssa Thomas . 2K Beats brings a host of new exciting tracks, including a 20-song playlist curated by DREAMER cover star J. Cole, as well as the opportunity for NBA 2K23 players to have exclusive debuts of new songs in the game later this season by Dave East, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Connie Diiamond feat. Listen to Dame DOLLA even before they appear on streaming platforms. Season 2 is also calling on the community to show their talent in the first installment of the NBA 2K Producer Series to a beat by Grammy Award-winning producer BoogzDaBeast. Players can record their own lyrics to the beat as they progress through the game and share them on social media.
