At midnight the big Resident Evil Showcase will take place, which Capcom wants to use to give us a glimpse of various upcoming Resident Evil projects. According to unconfirmed reports, we can also look forward to one or the other new announcement.
After yesterday’s “Silent Hill” event, which, among other things, Remake zu „Silent Hill 2“ was officially announced, it will continue tonight.
A few days ago, the Japanese publisher Capcom announced a major “Resident Evil” showcase that will start at midnight German time. If you want to be there live, you can of course look forward to an obligatory live stream. As usual, we have included this for you below these lines.
But what can we look forward to in detail as part of the showcase? Only two upcoming “Resident Evil” titles have been officially confirmed so far, which will be shown tonight.
A look at the Resident Evil 4 remake
On the one hand, Capcom would like to introduce us to the “Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition” that will be released on October 28, 2022. In addition to the main game of “Village”, new characters are offered for the Mercenaries mode and the story episode “Shadows of Rose”. In the DLC, 16 years after the events of “Village”, we slip into the role of Ethan’s daughter Rose and get to the bottom of the dark secrets of the Winters family in the third person perspective.
Also confirmed was a presentation of the “Resident Evil 4” remake, which will be released in March 2023 for the PlayStation consoles, among others. As “PlayStation Game Size” reported, citing the metadata of the live stream, the event will be around 57 minutes long.
