After the announcement of Silent Hill 2 Remake, the PlayStation Blog has published a new post signed by Motoi Okamoto (Producer of Konami) and Mateusz Lenart (Creative Director and Lead Designer of Bloober Team) to reveal new details on the re-release of one of the most loved survival horror ever.
In particular we find that Silent Hill 2 Remake will have no loading screens as confirmed by the game producer: “One last big improvement I would like to mention is the SSD storage technology. Thanks to super fast data streaming, players will not see any loading screens as they seamlessly explore the entire city of Silent Hill. “
Con Silent Hill 2 Remake, Konami wants to bring a cult game of the survival horror genre to life, initially released in 2001 on PS2 (later also on other platforms) and able to collect immediately enormous success with audiences and critics. The Japanese house is working with the authors of The Medium and Layers of Fear, who are shaping their vision of the world of Silent Hill 2.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released on PS5 and PC as an exclusive time on Sony consoles for 12 months, after this time the game will presumably also arrive on the platforms of the Xbox family.
