Bloober Team has confirmed that Silent Hill 2 will not have loading screens thanks to the SSD but not only because the game will also take advantage of the other features of the PlayStation 5, including the DualSense controller and 3D audio capabilities.
The development tem lets you know that thanks to the 3D audio functionality of the Sony console “gamers will be able to determine exactly which direction the sound is coming from. The WWise sound engine creates a realistic and believable soundscape that helps gamers immerse themselves in the game.”
Also confirmed support for DualSense and in this sense Bloober Team cita The Medium (here is the review of The Medium for PlayStation 5) as an example of creativity in using the PlayStation 5 controller: “With The Medium we have shown a good dose of creativity when it comes to haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. We have many other ideas in Serbian, but for the moment they will remain a surprise. “
As stated at the beginning, thanks to the PlayStation 5 SSD, Silent Hill 2 will not feature loading screens and it will therefore be possible to explore the city without interruptions of any kind. At the moment the new game from Konami and Bloober Team is still without a release date, we look forward to learning more about the launch window.
