Last night was held the Silent Hill Transmission, a conference presented by the Konami studio which revealed all its plans for the return of a cult horror saga. Among them, a certain Silent Hill: Townfall has shown the tip of his nose through a first trailer that looks rather distressing.
Silent Hill is back!
Following various rumors and other leaks on the web, the return of the Silent Hill franchise was more or less expected. Last night, Konami came out of the silence to present its new projects at a conference, the Silent Hill Transmission. An evening rich in announcements during which the Japanese studio lifted the veil on three new games but also on a film and a series. Suffice to say that there will be something to torture the minds of all fans of this cult horror saga. After having opened the ball with the confirmation of the remake of Silent Hill 2 (whose PC configurations are already available here), the conference continues and the anxiety goes up a notch with the broadcast of a trailer unveiling a brand new Silent Hill…
A mysterious trailer that sets the tone
If this first trailer (which you can find at the top of our article or via the tweet above) reflects a rather unhealthy atmosphere, it remains no less mysterious. For about a minute, you can see alternating waves with a shot focused on a kind of pocket television broadcasting somewhat disturbing images, all ending with the blurred features of a male character and a name: Silent Hill: Townfall.
Voluntarily enigmatic, the Japanese studio appeals to the sense of observation of the players to unearth all the smallest details. On the other hand, we know that this project is in the hands of Annapurna Interactivean American publishing studio known for having been behind games such as Stray or Outer Wilds. On the development side, it was entrusted to the teams of No Codeanother studio that may have worked on Observation or Stories Untold.
As for the platforms concerned or the release date, nothing has been announced.so you will have to be patient.
