Project Rene has been called to fundamentally change the way Sims behave and think. Players can also discover new ways to create and customize their worlds.
Maxis also said Project Rene will support co-op play. This feature will help players collaborate together with other players. Players can also play it solo. Not only that, the game can also be played cross-platform.
Players can customize the size and shape of the furniture in buy/build mode
In a livestream event, Maxis shows an example of the feature when it enters buy/build mode. This feature is the customization of furniture items on a level that has not been seen in its predecessor series. Not only can change the color, players can also later change the shape of the object. Players can also collaborate together on building houses in buy/build mode.
