The list of video games that, for one reason or another, fail to arrive on the shelves by the end of 2022 and are hopelessly postponed to next year is getting longer and longer. To be part of this category of products we even find Trepang2, the interesting first person shooter inspired by FEAR.
With a post published on the official Steam page of the FPS, TrepangStudios has communicated to fans that Trepang2 is still far from completion and it will not be able to arrive before 2023. Unfortunately, no launch date or generic period has been provided, but the development team has reassured users, stating that it will be worth waiting for a little extra time.
According to the post available on Steam, at the moment most of the content has been completed but the developers want to add more features. More specifically, the game now boasts 5 main missions, 6 side activities, 8 weapons, weapon and protagonist customization and availability of collectibles. The will of the small team, consisting of only 4 people, is to introduce an alternative ending and modality New Game Plus, which offers a remarkable level of customization of the gaming experience. There is talk of a NG + in which the player is given the opportunity to alter the gameplay in numerous aspects, significantly increasing the longevity of the final product.
While waiting to find out how the game will arrive on the digital shelves of Steam, we remind you that on our pages you will find the tried and tested Trepang2 demo.
