The next big release smartphones Android from the Chinese manufacturer led by Lei Jun will introduce us to the range Xiaomi 13 still in 2022. Apparently, these will be the high-end phones for the 1st half of 2023 and a few months of 2022.
By the way, we have already in the last few weeks made known some of the most relevant information leaks that have been released online. So far, however, two general designs for smartphones have circulated, without us being able to discern between the base model and the top version, the Pro model.
Camera design will differentiate Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro models
First of all, the information has now been advanced by the publication TechGoing, giving an account of a new real image of the alleged Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Thus, we can separate the general appearance of both smartphones, with the Pro model presenting a rounded camera island, clearly different from the base model – Xiaomi 13.
Then we can see the new arrangement of cameras for this model, as well as the express mention of the current partnership with Leica. However, at the moment we do not know the extent of the collaboration, applied to this product, of the partnership with the mythical German brand.
Xiaomi 13 Pro will display the express mention of Leica
On the other hand, the front panel of both smartphones will be identical, if not the same – or with the only noticeable difference residing in the dimension, in the physical size of the screen used.
In both models we have a slightly curved screen at the edges, with AMOLED technologymanufactured by Samsung, with center perforation for the front camera. That is, we will have a punch-hole camera.
for the model Xiaomi 13 Pro this screen should show 6.7 inches diagonally, one AMOLED E6 from Samsung with 2K resolution and high image refresh rate up to 120 Hz.
In addition, we have the sensor Sony IMX989of 50 MPthe largest image sensor currently being manufactured by Japanese technology.
Greater differentiation between the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro as in the Apple iPhone
The “Chinese Apple” is once again inspired by Tim Cook’s technology by, possibly, reading, increasing the differentiation between both models. Naturally, the biggest assets will be present in the Pro version with the (even) fast loading being one of them.
Indeed, according to the leaks, only the Pro model will charge at 120 W, like the current Xiaomi 12T. On the other hand, the base model can continue to be limited to 67 W of power, much like the current model.

There is still much we do not know and much of what has been advanced here is informed speculation. It is certain that Xiaomi will use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor range. However, no one has confirmed it to date.
In addition, the Chinese manufacturer has not yet publicly commented on this mobile device. Finally, we count on its official presentation in December, with launch still in 2022 in the domestic market of China.
In Europe, the Xiaomi 13 range should arrive later, if the tradition continues, during the first quarter of 2023.
