Kakao Games and XL Games have launched a teaser site for the in-development MMORPG ArcheAge War. On the page, we can watch the first cinematic trailer, see some of the game’s art, and learn more about the story.
The history of ArcheAge War tells that after the fall of the Yuan Continent and the Great Migration of Peoples, all races settled throughout the Nuya Continent in the West, creating their own communities. After a long time, the Izuna royal family took over the lands and subjugated other peoples. However, their greed did not end there, and the tyrant king Andrion II declared war on the country of the dwarves, the Republic of Andelf, which later turned into a large-scale war across the continent.
The major powers in Nuia either split into the Izuna Royal Family and the Crescent Moon Throne or ignored the situation. In the end, a big war began for personal interests and resources. However, the unknown force of one mercenary hit the entire battlefield, after which the war ended without anyone winning or losing.
Peaceful days filled with adventure are gone. The situation on the western continent was still chaotic, and although the war had ended, tensions had not abated. As a result, the Izuna royal family was about to start a second war.
MMORPG ArcheAge War is developed on Unreal Engine 4 for PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android. The developers promise a lot of combat content, including exciting field battles, large-scale sieges and naval battles taking place on the high seas. The game has no release date yet.
