As further proof of the future abandonment of the Battlefield 2042 Specialists and the return to the Classes, EA DICE and Ripple Effect return to update us on the development of the next seasonal contents to offer us a taste of the news planned with the return to the dear, old multiplayer Class system.
The two subsidiaries of Electronic Arts cite the work done in recent months for reform the current system of Specialists and explain that they have taken advantage of the feedback received from the beta testers. In the last sheet shared on the pages of the official Battlefield site, the developers of BF2042 draw up the list of new Classes and illustrate the roles to be held on the battlefield by playing each of today’s Specialists.
Engineers: Boris, Crawford, Lis
The Engineer class focuses on helping your allies’ vehicles and damage to enemy vehicles.
Recon: Casper, Paik, Rao
Scouts provide themselves and teammates with information on enemy positions and track enemy movements by designating targets on the battlefield.
Support: Angel, Irish, Falck
Those belonging to the Support Class ensure that their teammates can always remain active in combat, for example with crates of ammunition, stimpacks and revives to be carried out on site.
Assalto: Dozer, Mackay, Sundance
The members of the Assault class are soldiers specialized in medium-short range combat and are equipped with an arsenal designed to counter the enemy infantry.
DICE and Ripple Effect also point out that the Battlefield 2042’s new Class system still has room for improvement.
