The first impressions we had during our analysis were very positive. In these new videos, which catapulted us into some of the historical places of the original fourth chapter, we were able to admire the RE Engine, once again, in excellent shape and capable of present an excellent level of graphicsenriched by a texture compartment and a very valid lighting system.
As for the plot, we got the impression that Resident Evil 4 Remake it will follow the events of the original title quite faithfullyalthough we remain open to any kind of surprises from the Capcom authors.
The gameplay also seems to take us straight back to the past, thanks to a game-based gameplay system frenetic shooting phases, in which it will be essential to organize strategies in a short time to escape the growing hordes of enemies, perhaps with the help of the environmental solutions at one’s disposal. Also because, according to the producer, we will be faced with even stronger ganados than in the original game. The aspect of inventory management and the purchase of ammunition has been modernized with some additions and remains an important pillar for Leon’s survival until the final stages of the game.
After these considerations, and with the elements at our disposal, we have found that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be able to be appreciated by the general public thanks to its playful proposal, capable of ranging from horror to the most adrenaline-fueled action phases. However, we postpone our final judgment to the review phase, when we will be able to observe this production in its entirety.
