Bloober Team has been developing the remake of the horror game Silent Hill 2 for three years.

Since then, there have been a few more reports with rumors that the studio behind games like Layers of Fear, Observer and The Medium are working on a new installment in Konami’s iconic game series.
It was then officially announced last Thursday: Bloober Team is developing a remake of Silent Hill 2. The game will initially appear exclusively for PlayStation and is said to have been in development for three years.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is fully funded by Konami and in late-stage production, according to Bloober’s Piotr Babeno.
Konami could announce a release date very soon, according to Babeno.
