As part of the presentation of its latest financial results, Nacon also highlighted the sales numbers of Steelrising. The souls-like steampunk, although it did record decent numbers, failed to meet the expectations of the publisher.
In the Q2 of the fiscal year, Nacon recorded receipts of € 35.2 million, corresponding to an annual decline of 10%. In the first half of the fiscal year, however, the overall numbers are positive: the 77.5 million euros generated produce a + 6.2% on an annual basis.
In the latter quarter the sales of both Steelrising and Session Skate Sim were only “discrete“, and neither product managed to reach figures that fully satisfied the publisher and its financial forecasts. Nacon recorded a significant + 25.7% year-on-year increase in its gaming catalog, but this failed to adequately compensate for the 37.2% drop in accessories sales.
