To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise FalloutAmazon Prime Video published the first image of the TV series, currently in progress. The shot does not show much and is definitely on the safe side, as you can see below:
The first image in the Fallout series
As you can see, the image shows one of the moments considered most iconic by fans of the franchise, namely the opening of the tailgate of a Vault, in this case the 33.
According to the Fallout mythology, the Vault 33 it is one of the first, as well as one of the smallest. It is located in San Diego and was built inside an abandoned mine. The inhabitants had to be all employees of the General Atomics company, located in the same city, but at the time of the selection, only six were admitted, because the rest of the occupants were robots, who also had the role of command.
The objectives of Vault 33 were essentially three: to observe the reaction of humans forced to take orders from artificial intelligences; to see the evolution of a machine-only society after the death of all humans and to preserve pre-war technologies and knowledge so that technological progress could continue after it.
Probably the announcement of the next-gen version of Fallout 4 is linked to the arrival of the TV series. Bethesda and Microsoft may be looking for the Cyberpunk Edgerunners effect on game sales.
