The new third-person mode for Resident Evil Village will be compared to the existing first-person view.
With the release of the Gold Edition on October 28th, Resident Evil Village gains a new feature, Third-Person Mode, which allows you to experience the main story from a new perspective.
You can see a first comparison between first-person and third-person in the video.
In the ElAnalistaDeBits video, it was noted that third-person mode has an increased field of view (FOV), which is said to make it easier to see the size and distance of items and enemies. However, the higher FOV does not affect performance on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
There is also a slower reaction time, which makes aiming easier for you.
The cutscenes are still in first person view.
Finally, some animations suggest that the game was designed for first-person viewing. The result is more acceptable here than in the case of Call of Duty or The Elder Scrolls.
