Amateur of football and creation of content on Youtube, the videographer IShowSpeed decided to mix the two in a live not on FIFA 23 but by asking interviews directly to famous footballers on Instagram.

IShowSpeed, live problem magnet
He is one of the stars of Youtube in the United States: Darren Watkins Jr. is 17 years old and already has 12 million subscribers on the Google broadcasting platform. A success that he owes to many happening videos, where more bizarre stories happen to him. Some may remember him for putting set fire to a Pikachu right in his roomwhile more recently he has opened a virus live in front of 60,000 people.
Follower of accidents during direct, it is this time with a football player from the German club Bayern Munich that IShowSpeed blundered.
A fan of hip-hop but also of football, he has recently been asking for interviews with professional players. This was the case for Jesse Lingard of Nottingham Forest who he asked for his number via the social network Instagram. In the aftermath, the call went very well and IShowSpeed wanted to carry out a similar initiative with several star footballers.
“We both do stupid things all the time”
Thanks to the replay of his live, we can see IShowSpeed sending many voice messages to footballers around the world such as Kylian Mbappé. Nevertheless, it is Alphonso Davies who accepts the live interview, which takes place last Saturday on the Youtube channel of IShowSpeed. Except that it does not go as planned: the footballer’s phone number is displayed, while more than 90,000 spectators are present. The Youtuber immediately realizes his mistake but it is already too late.
How did the footballer react? Alphonso Davies explains during a live on his Twitch channel (Thatboydavies19) that they are both young: “We both do stupid things all the time”. He adds that for the disclosure of his telephone number, the fault is shared. Himself being in his car, the FaceTime (video call) did not activate which allowed the number to be displayed. Inevitably, in the minutes that followed his phone “went crazy”. Do not panic since since then, the Canadian footballer has changed model as well as number. All’s well That ends well.
