While the Beta of the fighting game has been spotted again online on PS5, we discover a potential detail regarding the launch window of Street Fighter 6 through the information released by Capcom in its latest financial report.
In addition to underlining the continuous financial growth of the Osaka house which has now lasted for 10 years, the financial report relating to Q2 specified that Capcom intends to release a single major title by the end of the fiscal yearwhich will officially close in March 2023.
“Capcom will focus on the upcoming release of a major title in the second half of the year, as well as the continued promotion of sales of titles in the catalog,” is what we read in the report. The game the company is referring to is in all likelihood Resident Evil 4 Remakewhich as we know will be released on PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X | S on March 24 next year.
According to this clarification, it seems that Street Fighter 6 – which of course is one of the most important Capcom publications planned for the coming months – it will not be released until April 2023. The fighting game is officially without a launch date, and at the moment we are all waiting to receive news from the company.
