Again and again we report about mods for big open world titles. After all, Skyrim, GTA 5, Spider-Man or Red Dead Redemption 2 are perfect for a wide variety of experiments. For example, for the open-world western from Rockstar, which received a fantastic rating from us in 2018, a modification was recently released that significantly increases the realism when hunting. The project about hunting in RDR 2 is called Hunting Grounds and was designed by user Shtivi. In addition to the adaptation of the animals, which can now show off with different weights and different body sizes, the dynamic population should be mentioned in particular. The more animals you kill on your virtual hunting trip, the fewer animals of a certain species will be available on the map in the medium term.
hunt with assistance
You can now track injured animals using a trail of blood and continue the hunt accordingly. This is combined with numerous new HUD elements, which you can also simply switch off if you wish. These options also include a new marker for your lures. Accordingly, however, you are quite easily able to keep track of where you left bait for your prey. You can currently download the mod from Nexus Mods.
